Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. When you place an order on HomePrep, your payment details are processed directly through Yoco's highly secure systems. We never see or store your full credit card details on our website. The security of your data is our top priority.
What payment methods do you accept?
For your convenience and security, we accept payments via Paystack, a trusted and regulated South African payment provider. This means you can pay safely using all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), as well as popular digital wallets like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. Your payment information is never stored by us.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (e.g., your credit card or Yoco payment). The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account can vary depending on your bank, but it is typically completed within 5-7 business days.
My item arrived damaged or defective. What do I do?
We're so sorry to hear that! If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at Homeprep.co.za@gmail.com with a photo of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you, as required by the Consumer Protection Act.
How long does delivery take?
We deliver within South Africa using Aramex Store-to-Door. Delivery times are 6-13 business days, depending on your location. Please note this is in addition to our 1-2 business day processing time.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer a flat rate of R90 for all orders under R1500. Enjoy free shipping on all orders over R1500.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been packed and handed to our courier, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to follow its journey to your door.
Why might my delivery be delayed?
From time to time, couriers may experience delays during busy shopping seasons (like near public holidays) or due to bad weather. While most orders arrive on time, these factors are outside of our control. You can always use your tracking link for the most up-to-date information.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your HomePrep purchase. If you change your mind, you have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return for a full refund, as provided for in South Africa's Consumer Protection Act. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. Please note, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
